Maddie's school district participated in a slogan contest sponsered by the National Energy Foundation. She came up with "Energy savers come in many flavors and every sprinkle counts." Her class voted to submit her slogan as their entry. Fast forward a few weeks. Out of 8,000 entries, Maddie's was selected! The Foundation is using it and put it on a poster with some neat graphics (I will try to post that later). Best of all, her school gets a $1000 grant! This photo with a little blurb about it was in the Deseret News yesterday (Maddie is in the photo, standing closest to her teacher.)
