Guys, remember when we went to Hawaii?

And we could NOT stop reading and talking about this book?

Oh, sorry, I mean THIS book

"Why did he have to look like a runway model when I couldn't?"

Gosh dang that was fun.

And do you know who's going to play Edward in the movie version?
Oh, you don't?
Let me show you. . .

. . . so this is from my scrap book:

This is when I Edward and I went to prom. Emmett's in the background wearing part of the grizzly bear he ate and Alice and Rosalie and there too. What? You don't believe me? Well, if I had a scanner and my 1995 prom photo you'd see i DID wear a Chinese dress.

And seriously, you know the English dude who played Cedric Diggory is going to be Edward, right?

Well I think we should ALL as a family go see the movie on 12/12/08 when it comes out.

Our Little Ad Executive

Maddie's school district participated in a slogan contest sponsered by the National Energy Foundation. She came up with "Energy savers come in many flavors and every sprinkle counts." Her class voted to submit her slogan as their entry. Fast forward a few weeks. Out of 8,000 entries, Maddie's was selected! The Foundation is using it and put it on a poster with some neat graphics (I will try to post that later). Best of all, her school gets a $1000 grant! This photo with a little blurb about it was in the Deseret News yesterday (Maddie is in the photo, standing closest to her teacher.)

My Happy Birthday + New Blog Look w/ Reference To Awesome 80's TV Show

I am now 31! I had such a fun birthday and it was the best weather yet of the entire year.
April, Amber, Beky & I went to Tea & Sympathy for tea/lunch.

I met a bunch of my friends later that night in Central Park where we ate pizza, had cupcakes...

...and scared babies.
